Our business was established in 1989 in Sheffield by offering hot foil printing to industrial and manufacturing markets.
Since then we have expanded into a diverse range of markets and invested heavily in digital and flexographic print equipment to provide economical label solutions to our customers.

Our History
1989
Establishing Crown Labels
Crown Labels was established in 1989, manufacturing self-adhesive labels produced using the hot foil production process. We quickly built a reputation for excellent customer service and high quality products, helping us to experience strong growth and work with a range of customers.
1990s - 2000s
Continued Expansion
Our swift response to client demands and customer focus enabled us to expand at various stages in the 1990s, with the introduction of our flexographic printing process and thermal transfer printing of barcodes and variable data. Sustained growth across all processes followed throughout the 2000s.
2010
The Big Move
We moved to a brand new manufacturing facility in 2010, located on the Sheffield/Rotherham border, near to the M1 and Meadowhall. This move to larger premises enabled the company to expand production capability with more usable space that was much better suited to long term growth.
2015
Investing in Digital
In 2015 we opened a new digital suite with a state-of-the-art Epson Press and dedicated finishing line. This enables us to achieve labels of stunning quality, helping to offer a more comprehensive range of label printing services to our customers across a broader range of markets.
2019
30 Years of Service
In 2019 we celebrated our 30th anniversary. We also made our most significant investment to date in a Digital UV Inkjet label press, enabling us to offer an even more competitive service across a broader range of requirements. We start the new decade with a comprehensive range of production capabilities.
